Our Advocacy Program

COming 2025…

One of the leading causes of homelessness is a lack of a healthy support system. When you reflect on some of your most difficult seasons it is likely that you had healthy and supportive friends, family, or church community who was able to walk alongside your family.

In 2024 over 80% of applications we received for shelter services were for single-mother households. These mom’s did not have the healthy support system to help walk alongside them in this season of crisis.

Advocates serve in the area of motivating, encouraging, and supporting the parent as they walk through this season of crisis. Our desire is for the relationship to continue even after the family graduates or secures their own permanent housing.

Advocates must be able to pass a background check, complete a training, and have the ability to communicate with staff.
